Dedication
This site is dedicated to our co-founder, inspirational teacher, and healer, Patrick McCarty (1947-2008), with our sincere thanks to his family for their continued love and support.
What's New
Welcome to the new East West Center for Macrobiotics website!
The East West Center for Macrobiotics is a non-profit (501.c.3) corporation organized to establish an online school to teach macrobiotic philosophy and dietary principles.
Phase 1 is now completed and includes articles on macrobiotics that can be downloaded for free and e-books that can be purchased for download.
Phase 2 is currently in progress. We have a partnership with the George Ohsawa Macrobiotic Foundation to make available out-of-print macrobiotic literature in electronic form. We also are seeking funding to create free classes for beginning students.
Phase 3 is online classes for intermediate and advanced students. We will keep the cost for these classes as low as possible by continuing to ask for direct support.
